Recording of my office before anyone else is in. The only sound apart from the faint fan noise is a regular, very, very faint beep from something every few seconds (approx. 3. 7 khz). Zoom h5 with xyh5 capsules.

Used the operator in ableton to create a sound based on the feeling of stoicism or apathy.

I made this as a near ultrasonic sms signal. Created and edited with audacity, filtered with glame bandpass filter. If you hardly cut a pure tone, you introduce a whole lot of other frequencies to the signal at the cutting point. To avoid this after the cutting you need to filter the whole thing with a bandpass filter to ensure you have as little other frequency content as possible. It will audibly soften the start and the end of the sound. That's what i did here.

Accidental feedback loop turned very eerie electronic effect. Recorded twice at random and then panned hard left and right. Sounds cool in stereo, or you can split up the two files.

This is one of many build ups from my personal effects library. I used a time-stretch,and added a heavy eq over it for an added bass effect. It builds from in fade to original volume with re-verb. Enjoy. .

Trying to be clever with the wah pedal but not really.

Clean tone, blues style of riff but could almost be an intro for a doom/stoner rock song.

Dirty tone type of riff with maybe a hint of texas sauce with lots of harmonics.

This was created with reaktor 6, nested inside vcvrack (via the "host" module) run through various effects in vcv rack. Ultimately this was rendered out at 192khz (vcv allows for very high super sampling). Many frequencies that are above the range of hearing exist in this file due to rendering it at such a high sample rate. I recommend that, in your daw of choice: pitch this down a couple octaves while running this through a frequency analyzer. Watch how many notes and tones emerge into the range of hearing. You might need a high shelf eq on this as well as a slight high pass filter. Several use cases for this sound: in the background of a sci-fi video game. On your next ambient dark drone top 40 hit single. Run through effects like granulators, pitch shifters and spectral distortions to make a crazy sound design sculpture.

A road by the edge of a forest. Ambient noise of birds and cars driving past.

A simple sine wave beep running through soft saturation and modulation, then being exported deliberately at 8khz and 8bit to simulate the low quality of a phone call. Use this as a standard beep sound coming through a phone speaker. The latter half is a little faster to enable a simulation of hanging up or the call being rejected.

A single wind chime tube hit. Recorded with a tascam dr-40.

This is a 5 second rendering of the famous 1000hz censoring tone used on tv, movies and broadcasts. It can be cut, looped and used to censor audio that may be sensitive in nature or otherwise not fit for broadcasting. Made the tone using an analog tone/pulse generator fed into a focusrite scarlet 2i4. The sound is very clean (no noise). As this "tone" is fairly easy to reproduce and there is no copyright on it, i'm not going to ask for attribution or anything. Just use it as you see fit whether it'd be commercial or private. This is a tone that i generated using my electric fender strat through one of my vintage amplifiers in my studio. Works well as a sample for composing soundscapes with it - i've used these tones in maschine and other sequencing/midi based instruments to create some interesting orchestral arrangements with the tones.

The is a constant electronic drone generated by a program i made for the purpose of creating this tone. The tone is clipped and has random amplitude variations.

Jovica's hi-hat sample filtered and boosted a bit to bring out the high tone without the percussion tap. Similar to the tone between pages of a primary school reading book record.
